Hey, there! Happy you could make it!

My name is Cassandra, and I am a writer. I may not always be the most eloquent of speakers, but I do know my way around a word or two here and there. I appreciate a descriptive sentence and the beautiful fluff of adjectives.

Having been writing as a hobby for most of my life, I never considered the idea that I could do it for real. In fact, for part of my life, due to circumstances that I'm sure I'll eventually write about further, I stopped writing in its entirety. Then, a spark came through the words of a dear friend and an inspiring YouTube video. Just like that, I wanted to do it. I wanted to write.

I prefer to write about anything that involves fantasy and magic, as that is also what I enjoy reading. Dragons are my absolute favorite. I still mostly write as a hobby, often in the form of role play. That being said, I've finally begun to branch out into more structured writing, having started a few novels (though I haven't figured out the finish part of that). I love to world build most of all, and I have a horrible habit of getting trapped in an endless loop of just building and never writing. This is my greatest weakness, and it is the one I'm working on through this website. Often, I simply write for writing's sake, as that - in my eyes - is a most worthy endeavor.

Besides being a hopeless romantic of words, I am also wife to a man who leaves me speechless, mother to the kindest little girl in the world (and soon-to-be mom-of-two), and cat-lover-extraordinaire!
